Sammanfattning: Previous academic research has shown that sport organizations are complex and hard to manage due to the large number of stakeholders with a high commitment. In Sweden, we also have an unique “51 %”-rule that make the football clubs owned by members which leads to a higher dependence from stakeholders. The purpose of the thesis was to identify and describe what challenges the management of the sport organizations in the Swedish highest league in football, Allsvenskan, may have to deal with because of different influences and agendas of the groups of stakeholders around the organization. We examined the decision makers in four clubs in Allsvenskan about their approach to the stakeholders and how they are working to satisfy the goals, claims and agendas through qualitative interviews. The result showed that sporting results is the main reason to the different approaches of the stakeholders. It also showed that the balancing of the economy is the biggest challenge for the management of the sport organizations in Swedish elite football clubs. Meanwhile, the results also showed that the different stakeholders never could be completely satisfied.
