Sammanfattning: Since ancient times child labor has been found throughout the whole world. Legislation and rules regarding child labor have emerged gradually and in this essay I want to investigate how the regulation of child labor in Sweden are today. And how the development has been during two centuries. My two question of issues are under what conditions can children under the age of 18 gain employment in Sweden today? And when was the first legislation governing child labor established in Sweden and how have it developed over the last two hundred years? When it comes to labor children are divided into groups depending on their age. Every group of age has different conditions for working. There is legislation in various forms of work tasks, working hours, rest periods and school duties depending on the age of the child. Developments of the legislation and rules have gradually become better and restrictions have been placed on the exploitation of children in the working life.
