Regionala infrastruktursatsningars påverkan på hållbar mobilitet i Landvetter Södra

Sammanfattning: This bachelor’s thesis studies the impacts of regional infrastructure investments on sustainablemobility at a local level. The study is based on the new planned town Landvetter Södra, Härrydamunicipality. To achieve goal 11 in Agenda 2030, a change in travel behaviour and trafficplanning in favor of sustainable means of transport is required. It is thus of interest to study the development of sustainable mobility alternatives and how this can be affected by regional infrastructure investments. The survey was based on qualitative interviews with officials at Trafikverket, Härryda kommun and Trollhättans Stad. In addition, a questionnaire with openanswers has been sent out to the project group in the consortium that works with thedevelopment of Landvetter Södra. The results show a number of potential mobility alternativesas well as possible planning strategies that could be implemented in Landvetter Södra topromote sustainable mobility. Furthermore, the study shows a discrepancy between the twoactors Härryda kommun and Trafikverket regarding a railway station in Landvetter Södra onGötalandsbanan, which could affect this development. On the other hand, a number of other infrastructure investments are mentioned that could compensate for a missing railway station and thus ensure sustainable mobility in the city.
