IKT, ETISKT FÖRHÅLLNINGSSÄTT OCH LITERACY - en studie av lärares uttryck för begreppen
Sammanfattning: This essay studies teachers expression of ethical view and literacy relating to ICT in three public junior high schools. The essay also studies teachers expression of ethics in relation to ethical values expressed in the curriculum. The theories used in the study for analyzing teachers expressions is value ethics by Thornberg and also ethical principles that teachers should follow by Orlenius. Three views on literacy is also used for analyzing expression of literacy. Literacy can be seen as skills, as a social activity or as a democratic activity. Four ICT competent teachers has been interviewed.The results show that some teachers interpret ethical view regarding ICT in the curriculum as normative and others interpret ethics as dialectic and prosocial. However, most teachers express the dialectic view on ethics while describing their teaching with ICT. Teachers have a good understanding what literacy is but their view differs. Some express literacy as individual skills while others view it as social and democratic activities. Furthermore, teachers interpret ethics and literacy differently and individually in the curriculum. School culture, school values and view on risks could affect the teachers view on ethics and expression of literacy. Also, some teachers show resistance towards ICT which might also affect their ethical view and expressions of literacy.
