Metadonbehandling - På vems villkor?: en komparativ studie mellan S:t Lars metadonprogram i Lund och Socialpsykiatrisk kliniks metadonbehandling i Roskilde

Sammanfattning: The purpose with this essay, was to examine if the drugpolitical policy related to the development of the methadon treatment in St: Lars in Lund versus the Socialphsytiatric clinic in Roskilde. We wanted to compare the rehabilitation methods and by that, emphasise possible simularitys and differenses. We choose to work with the following questions: -In what way does the drugpolitical policy effect the development of methadon treatment in Sweden verses Denmark? -How does the purpose of the methadon treatment compare with the drugpolitical goals in each country? -How is the methadon treatment developed in St:Lars in Lund verses the Socialpshytiatric clinic in Roskilde, when it comes to criterions, controls, other abuse on the side, defections and discharges? The purpose had to end the means of the choise of method, wich became the intervju. We intervjued five persons, three from Sweden and two from Denmark, all with attachments to the methadon treatment program. We also used litteratur, rapports and information from different websites on the Internet. Our conclusions of the two rehabilitation methods are, that a drugfree society and "harm reduction", affects and shapes the two establishments even if they look identical on the outside. The methadon treatment, which in both countrys is named as "ad modum Dole - Nyswander", has dispite the same origin, big differenses.
