Byggbranschens könsstrukturer : En studie om kvinnans roll i den mansdominerade byggbranschen

Sammanfattning: Even though we live in a modern and developed society there is still a clear division of laboring and norms concerning what a female profession is and what a male profession is. This study's purpose was too illustrate how the women in the construction industry feels about the male norms and traditions that exist in their workplace and how it affects their everyday life at work. The women in this study will highlight the way they are treated by their colleagues and what expectations they feel that their bosses have on them. Our interpretation after this study is that there is a special treatment of the women in the industry. All respondents felt that they were treated in special kind of ways and that it led to negative consequences for their own good in their work life.
