Sammanfattning: The rain data investigated shows that none of the rains registered at Bendzgatan, Halalid and Sofieberg during 2007-2012 or at Gåsebäcksvägen during 1991-2008 had potential to flood the storm water retention basin in Rydebäck. The retention basin located in Raus Vång is likely to have been flooded several times during the same period, but due to the topography of the surrounding area, the buildings and roads in the area should not have been affected by the floodings. Regnbågsdammen, which is located in Barnens Skog, also seems to have been flooded multiple times during the period of 1991-2008, but the number of floodings during this period does not exceed the number of floodings which are to be expected during this interval, considering the design criteria of the retention basin.
