Den ideala ledaren : Önskar kvinnor och män samma typ av ledare?

Sammanfattning: The aim of present study was to examine the management style that is considered as ideal among students, and if there are differences between men and women. The study used the Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire XII (LBDQ XII), 6 dimensions of 12 that includes 50 questions. The study included 101 participants, men and women from the University. A MANOVA with sex as independent variable and person-oriented and task-oriented leadership style as dependent variables showed no difference between women and men. The t-test showed that women show preference to the person-oriented management style to a greater extent than the task-oriented leadership style. No difference in leadership preferences were of men between the person-oriented management style and the task-oriented leadership style. Men showed no preference for the task-oriented leadership style.
