Hållbara Hem - ett nytt miljömärkningssystem för småhus

Sammanfattning: To form a building adapted to the environment and at the same time preserve land, water and other resources in a long term it has to fulfill some requirements. Requirements are set by international and national governing authorities. In order for a regular consumer, property owner or entrepreneur to be guided towards sustainable construction, there are also several environmental certification systems. All environmental certification systems working towards an increased durability. In Sweden, few small houses are environmentally certified. This report therefore reviews and compares the most commonly used certification systems in Sweden. This clarifies which of the systems that can be used in small houses and what is the difference between them. Thereafter, a new supplementary environment labeling system designed for small houses, Sustainable Homes, is being prepared. The new environment labeling system consider aspects that other environmental assessment systems for single-family houses don't do. The new environment labeling system will be tested at Retrohus´s newly produced house Madame Flood. The purpose of the report is to simplify work towards the global climate goals during the using of newly produced single-family houses. This by doing a literature study, a new environment labeling system and finally a case study at Retrohus. This report will be answering the questions about which environmental assessment systems are suitable for single-family homes, what are the differences between them and also why a new environmental assessment systems is necessary and how it should be designed.
