Sammanfattning: Within pedagogical education for young children both nationally and internationally, work isconducted on issues of equality, equity and gender identity. In terms of activities around the world, Swedish preschool are in many ways unique when it comes to equality work. Theoverarching aim of this thesis in this systematic review is to explore what research exists onwork with gender equality in preschool and other educational environments for youngerchildren. The pedagogical research field will be screened hoping to find scientific texts relevantto pedagogical work on gender equality issues and whose perspective is visible in those texts.The purpose of this thesis is a desire to discern what is being told and at the same time not betold about the educational work. At the same time, there is a desire of getting closer to thediscussion of equal education and quality in younger children's education.
