Sammanfattning: The study has thus been based on an interest in seeing how the multiple work environments can affect the professional work that is sought based on the school law`s description. The purpose of the study is thus to gain a deeper understanding of how the multiple work environments affect the possibility of adequate professional work that requires close relationships and continuity. The results of the study have emerged from semi-structured interviews with five professional school counsellors in different parts of Sweden. Empirical data has been analysed using thematic analysis method and with support in concepts such as profession, room for manoeuvre, structuring theory and organizational structures. What has emerged from the study is therefore that multiple work environments affect the possibility of being available to the extent that school counsellor would have liked. You can also observe difficulties in relating your professional work to many different teams and employers when continuity is broken and the workload becomes high. The motivation for the study is that is has contributed to a greater understanding of the school curative work and its importance within the school.
