Sammanfattning: We have conducted a phenomenological study on students who will become officers (KB-elever) and our subject is leadership. Our first purpose was to determine their point of view in leadership and how the describe it on two occasions. One occasion before and one after a field-training course in survival techniques. We also wanted to see if the view on leadership was shared and if it had changed after the week. We used a qualitative approach with two open questions one before and one after the course. In our research we used a new method by using Le Sphinx Lexica and MCA Minerva (MCA) in a cooperation between the programs. First we used Le Sphinx Lexica to find the most common words and exported the sentence containing that word. Then we used MCA Minerva to conduct a meaning constitution analysis on those sentences. This gives us the life-view of the group of students in officers training and what there perspective is regarding leadership. The results are that their shared life-view before the survival-course is that leadership is something that exist in the military and something that officers do. The shared life-view after the week was that leadership is something that exists in the group and it is important in a difficult situation. A special thanks to Major Leo Strömberg, the students and the staff on the regiment P7 Revingehed.
