Hamlade träds värde: trädets roll inom olika miljöer

Sammanfattning: The question about value is an ever going subject. This paper aims to conduct a case study on selected environments that has to do with pollard trees and compare different approaces regarding these trees and their value. Previous research has shown that the value differs from biological and cultural. Whether it is a tree in a cultural reserve, or in a natural reserve different values are brought to light. The same goes for the pollarding made on private land. Three different areas have been selected for this research, all with different outlook on why the pollarding is conducted. These areas are as follows: Stensjö by cultural reserve, Garparör natural reserve and the private owned land of Södra gården. The values and location of pollarded trees are analyzed through a study of the maintenance plan for the reserves, and through an interview conducted with the owners and maintainers of the pollarded trees on Södra gården. The analysis of the different areas is then summarized in the chapter värdeanalys.
