Sammanfattning: The purpose with this essay is to review the legal sources that refers to the physicalenvironment on workplaces with the focus on disabled workers. The idea behind this essay isto show how complex the rules are in this area. Also what consequences and effects it canhave on disabled workers and their physical environment. This has been done with theapproach of sociology of law. The legal method has also been used to find the binding legalsources. Interviews has been a complement to get a picture of how existing workplaces maylook like. It has been shown that the existing sources are many and that there is a problem foremployers to know what rules to follow. They can basically choose which rules to followbecause the law that covers the topic works as a framework. That means a law with goals andguidelines. Regulations beyond this law are also written in a general way which result in lawsthat people can overlook. This affects disabled people when they for different reasons can’twork or get an employment for example. Just because the environment on the workplace isn’tadjusted. Every employee and person should be treated the same way whether they have adisability or not. A workplace where everyone can be is a workplace everyone want to have.
