Klimatanpassning av bostäder i Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan - Analys av enfamiljshus

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Utbildningar i Helsingborg

Sammanfattning: This work deals with the construction technique and indoor climate in both new and old single family houses, in the city of Sulaymaniyah northern Iraq. An analysis has been done on two residential buildings by two different developers, a private and the other commercial. The problems that many buildings in Kurdistan have had and still have today are the poor indoor comfort temperature and high energy use; this appears through an analysis carried out on location and interviews with architects, engineers and a questionnaire survey of residents in the city. A simple method to improve indoor climate and reduce energy costs throughout the lifetime of a building is through introduction of insulation. This was demonstrated by the U-value calculations on the different elements of the building with and without insulation. The task also showed that building techniques are in great need to be modernized and streamlined.
