Brandteknisk riskvärdering av Gårdsåkra i Eslöv

Sammanfattning: The purpose of this report is to evaluate whether the personal safety is adequate in case of a fire at Gårdsåkra in Eslöv. The personal safety considered being adequate if it can be shown that evacuation is possible for everyone without the risk of serious injuries. Gårdsåkra is a unique building which contains 16 buildings that are connected with one glass-roof. The buildings houses apartments, nursery school, school and after-school centre. To evaluate the fire safety in the facility, possible fires scenarios that can arise are considered. Through a risk analysis, the worst probable fires are selected and evaluated with calculations and FDS simulations. Evacuation simulations are made with the help of Pathfinder. The analyses of the fires are compared with the results from evacuation simulations and conclusions are drawn. The results show that the current fire safety is insufficient and safe evacuation cannot be guaranteed for everyone. As a consequence, measures are suggested to be implemented to improve the personal safety at Gårdsåkra.
