HOPPSASTEG – med känsla av glädje. Svartvita mönster och moduler

Sammanfattning: Happyhop – with a feeling of joy represents 20 weeks of work. I chose the name because it connotes a feeling that I wanted to have as often as possible during this project. The focus has been to work with joy during the whole period, making figurative patterns in black and white and flexible furniture sections. The patterns have been drawn in ink to give them a sketched look and then printed on fabric and wallpaper. The fabric has been adapted to fit the four furniture sections, sections that can be put together in various ways to make up for example a sofa, four chairs or two stools. These and other possible alternatives give different expressions to both form and pattern. The outcome of the project is shown at an exhibition at Röhsska museet 20 May – 4 July 2006, with wallpaper, print for fabric, furniture sections and a carpet; all in black and white. With this concept I aim at communicating my way of expressing myself while at the same time marketing myself as a designer.
