Konfrontationsbenämning av aktiviteter och objekt hos vuxna svensktalande personer utan känd hjärnskada – en standardiseringsstudie
Sammanfattning: The purpose of the study was to examine how non-brain damagednative Swedish-speaking adults named 120 object and action pictures dividedinto three sets from An Object and Action Naming Battery (OANB)(Masterson & Druks, 1998). Validity was examined and test instructions andscoring of responses were evaluated. Data from 115 participants aged 19-85years was analyzed and coded according to response category. The resultsshowed that the three sets were comparable in difficulty and that actions wereharder to name than objects. Number of correct responses correlatednegatively with age and positively with education, which is consistent withprevious studies. The consistency in naming pictures was high and theguidelines for administration and coding of answers seem to work and providereliable assessments. The results indicate that OANB has construct validity. One conclusion is that the material can be further used in research and clinicalpractice.
