Skrivutveckling med hjälp av sambandsord : En interventionsstudie med elever med och utan skrivsvårigheter i åk 4

Sammanfattning: Students with writing difficulties struggle with many aspects of the writing process, including sentence construction. Getting the chance to practice different ways of sentence combining using linking words helps pupils to automatize the ability to write sentences. This study investigates how direct instruction of linking words affects students use of linking words in narrative texts. Further, the difference between students with and without writing difficulties in relation to this instruction is examined. This quasi-experimental study including pre- and after-test, is carried out at two different Swedish schools in grade 4. The results suggest that direct instruction of linking words increases the amount of used linking words in narrative texts, for both students with and without writing difficulties.
