Arbetsmetodik för dimensionering av brandskydd i Br0-byggnader

Sammanfattning: Within the field of fire protection engineering, there are different buildings classes depending on their safety needs. Building class 0 includes buildings which are considered to have the highest protection need and the prescriptive regulations are not applicable in these kinds of buildings. The building class was introduced 2012 and there are still not a consensus of how it should be handled. Based on interviews and literature about the building class, a proposal on a method for handling building class 0 buildings was developed. The method includes the required steps in analytical dimensioning according to the Swedish building board. The method is divided into 4 steps which all consists of different matrixes to help the user through all necessary aspects. The aim of the method was to clarify the important issues and to bring up what questions that should be asked. The proposed method is helping the user to identify problem areas within the building, to examine what prescriptive regulations that are affected by the problem areas, to obtain a sufficient acceptance criterion and to analyze the risk scenario from a holistic perspective.
