Ledarskapsstrategers uppfattning om effekterna av genomförda ledarskapsutbildningar i Skånes näringsliv

Detta är en Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå från Lunds universitet/Institutionen för psykologi

Sammanfattning: The purpose of the study was to analyze how ‘leadership strategists’ in Skåne's business community perceived the effects of leadership training. A directed content analysis was adopted. 16 people (from 15 companies) in various leadership positions with authority to influence the process of contracting for leadership training were interviewed. The results of this study shows that the interviewees had the perception that leadership training predominantly leads to positive reactions and learning among participants. Many of the interviewees had vague beliefs that the efforts resulted in positive outcomes for the organisation, but they lacked the means to track such effects. With the help of a self-designed theoretical integrative model, the study highlights that different types of effects are difficult both to discover and achieve. The model explains the difficulty for leaders to transfer learning. Bridging the gap between knowledge and action seems to be a key challenge in optimizing future leadership training.
