Hälsofrämjande ledarskap - mer än bara en fruktkorg? : En kvalitativ studie om hälsofrämjande ledarskap inom offentlig social verksamhet

Sammanfattning: This study aims to obtain an increased knowledge about experiences of leadership among employees in workplaces that focus on a health promoting leadership. The purpose of this study was to examine this issue in relations to the employees experiences of obstacles and opportunities in the health promoting work. In our study we performed four quality interviews with persons active within the public sector. The result of the study has there after been analyzed with the help of Antonovskys analytic method – KASAM and system theory. The most important results observed from our questions are that these respondents experience support from their colleagues and manager, though some of them underline that the support fails when it comes to stress and high workload. The majority of the respondents experienced high participation and influence at the working place while others did not experience this within the organisation. Another important factor that is revealed from our result is that more frequent dialogues with the employees, where you systematically discuss the working environment, seems to give positive effect on the indivduals´ health which confirms the importance of systematical health promoting environmental work.
