Sammanfattning: In this thesis, concepts for troubleshooting and diagnostics of Combat Vehicle 90 (CV90) have been evaluated. The thesis work was carried out for BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik, which is an engineering company that focuses on the production and upgrade of vehicle systems for military and civil applications. The CV90 was designed back in 1993 and has since then been developed further over the years. The project was brought forward because BAE sees potential for improvements specifically within troubleshooting and diagnostics. The thesis was limited to troubleshooting and diagnostics performed by technicians in the workshop, not when the vehicle is in use. Information for this thesis has been drawn from books, scientific articles and thesis works, as well as interviews with employees at BAE Systems. Diagnostic methods used in other industries and companies were compared with BAE:s methods to try to determine what makes a system to perform well in a specific situation. Information about BAE:s current methods were retrieved from either their employees through interviews and visits or through their internal database DM. Advantages and disadvantages of the various methods for troubleshooting and diagnostics in CV90 are presented and discussed. As one of the results of the project, it is proposed to use a combination of methods adapted to BAE Systems needs.
