Sammanfattning: Title: Artistic methods for persons with dysfunctions. The idea to the paper was born in my work, as a pedagogue, with young persons with dysfunctions. My pedagogic method is eurhythmics but I wanted to examine in what other ways you could work with artistic expression in similar areas such as circus, dance therapy and psychodrama. These areas were chosen because they have components that are interrelated, which I find very interesting. Mind and body are considered from a holistic point of view. The purpose of this paper is to bring about a better understanding of how persons with dysfunctions respond to various artistic teaching methods. I have focused on the following aspects: 1) personal background 2) history and development of the different methods 3) the method of today 4) different aspects of the method 5) the future. The background part consists of a literature review to give an introduction into the subject. The result part comprises science, history and theories and the interviews give a personal and current angle of the questions I presented. In my discussion I connect the results from the interviews and the literature review based on my five focus fields. The conclusion of the study shows how important it is that artistic methods are available for persons with dysfunctions. Furthermore the study shows the necessity of further research in the field and that more research could contribute to a greater breakthrough for the artistic methods. The study ends with recommendations for continuous research and private thoughts about the performed paper.
