För att dom hugger i mitt hjärta. Kampen om ett landskap - Ojnareskogen 2012

Sammanfattning: This thesis explores the resistance towards a planned lime stone quarry on northern Gotland. Drawing upon the theory about the landscape as a product of social relations which can be attributed to different values and purposes. The aim is to understand how the opposing justifies their right to the landscape. The fight in Ojnareskogen is originating from two very different perspectives on the landscape. Nordkalk, the company behind the planned quarry sees in Ojnareskogen a valuable natural resource, while environmental groups and activists sees a landscape with a unique nature which should be protected. Arguments as to why the area should be preserved are both ecological, legal, political and moral to their character.
