Skogsägande i brandens spår

Sammanfattning: This study is designed to provide a picture of how those who own forest land in the fire area after the great forest fire of Västmanland in the summer of 2014 looks at their future forest ownership, finances and willingness to invest in new forest. In the study, a questionnaire was sent out to the landowners who have forest fire area. 45 percent of the respondents want to continue owning and farm their forest despite the fire. Half of them are not worried about their future livelihood. Of those who are worried about their mains supply after the forest fire the majority knows how to solve their financial problems in the future. Most do not intend to sell the land or buy new land. Of those who intend to sell as most people want to sell to the nature reserve. Of those who want to buy, they want the new forest located near the old property.
