Stavning, morfologi och redigeringar i sammanhängande skrift gjorda av personer med afasi - En jämförande studie
Sammanfattning: In this study picture elicited written texts were examined and compared between a group of 16 persons with aphasia and 25 persons without neurological disease in terms of spelling errors, morphological errors, word substitutions and unknown target words, and also how the writing processes were distinguished between the groups in terms of edits. This analysis was done with the working method keystroke logging. The results showed that the Aphasia-group produced significantly more errors related to all the categories in the final text. The differences between the groups were greater related to the morphological errors than to the spelling errors which indicate that this level is sensitive to aphasic symptoms regarding written connected texts and that a morphological analysis could be of interest in diagnostic work related to aphasic symptoms. The Aphasia-group edited a significantly larger proportion of the words compared to the Reference-group. However, the editing strategies between the groups were quite similar. Previous research which has analyzed editing strategies regarding connected writing which were carried out with other types of writing tasks has found bigger qualitative differences. This indicates that the type of administered task has an impact on the editing strategies for both persons with aphasia and persons without neurological disease.
