En analys av medietransformation i filmen Känn ingen sorg

Sammanfattning: This study investigates the movie Känn ingen sorg (2013) from an intermedial perspective. By applying the theories of Lars Elleström and Irina O. Rajewsky the aim is to investigate how the movie can be understood as a transformation of lyrics and music by the musician and composer Håkan Hellström. My study leads to a conclusion about how both the theory of Elleström and of Rajewsky can be helpful in the study of this film, but in different ways. Whereas Rajewsky’s theory can be used for a more basic understanding of different types of intermedial relations, the theory of Elleström is helpful for a deeper analysis of how a media transformation functions. The more detailed theory of Elleström has been helpful to categorize various components of the film and understand how they relate to the source medium. Känn ingen sorg contains various transmediations and media representations that are parts of a wider transformation.
