Sammanfattning: The purpose of this study has been to examine in which ways musical artists and entertainers have been working with digital media and intermedial relations during the corona pandemic in the years 2020-2021. Using qualitative methods, this paper aims to create a deeper understanding of digital working strategies and the benefits that can be found with these in comparison with more traditional non-digital methods. This is of high relevance in relation to the ongoing digitalisation of society, as it is likely that many in the entertainment industry will continue to work with more digital methods even after the end of the pandemic. Therefore, it is important to know the consequences and the possible gains or losses from working in these media forms. This study explores the newly established digital working methods of two artists, who both have been able to adapt their work to the current restrictions in society since the global spread of the coronavirus. Results show that there are numerous ways to utilize digital methods as a performing artist and that there are several benefits to these, for the artists as well as their fans.
