Dörrkonfigurationens påverkan på flödet genom öppningar

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Brandteknik

Sammanfattning: In most of the studies that are made for pedestrian flow through doors, reaserchers have just looked at the flow through oppenings without doors. This study aims to figure out how much impact the configuration of the door has on pedestrian flow. The configurations that have been examined are open doors, free swinging doors, doors that open inwards, doors that open outwards and the differences between right- or left swing doors. From the results from the experiment in this report and earlier studies it can be concluded that there is no impact if the door is right- or left swing doors, there is very low impact if the door is free swinging or not and the differences is there only seen if there is a big group of people at the same time. For the doors that open inwards or doors that open outwards the differences are small and only possible to observe at high densities.
