Sammanfattning: The growing interest of quality measurements and assessments in school is nothing new. Over the past decades in Europe, PISA and TIMMS have become standard quality measurements in how well students perform. Lately the discussions of quality measurements have also reached higher upper education through the establishment of ENQA (European Association for Qual-ity Assurance in Higher Education) in the year 2000. But what is the meaning of quality in upper higher education? In this paper the term quality will be discussed along with the views of former social science teacher alumnus who have graduated from upper Secondary School Teacher programs. Using qualitative method and semi-structured interviews with 9 teacher alumni from 2016-2018 together with a content analysis, several discoveries were made. Re-sults show that the alumnus experience from education is characterized by a lack of practical knowledge and didactics. Furthermore, new discoveries were made, also related to practical skillsets, but were distinguished through other skills that were characterized as organizational skills. Further research is required to estimate other teacher alumnus from other universities, in order to acuminate knowledge about their circumstances and opinions about quality. There-fore, by providing constructive criticism, it can potentially lead to raising teacher education to new heights and securing its professional status in a wider sense
