Utveckling av terapeutisk allians vid tidig psykos: Samband och prediktorer

Detta är en Master-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Institutionen för psykologi

Sammanfattning: This naturalistic study explores correlations between therapeutic alliance, as measured with Session Rating Scale (SRS), and patient and treatment factors in the treatment of first episode psychosis at an early intervention centre in Malmö, Sweden. It also aims to identify predictors of therapeutic alliance in this group. 67 patients with first episode psychosis participated. Results show that the alliance improved over time, and statistics reveal significant correlations between therapeutic alliance after three months of treatment and age, drug use, diagnosis, hallucinatory behaviour, symptoms, ”perceived life situation” and functioning. Multiple regressions analysis show that a model including early therapeutic alliance, age, drug use, perceived life situation, GAF-functioning and hallucinatory behaviour explained 15% of the variance in therapeutic alliance. These findings stress a need to adapt interventions for different groups with early psychosis, for example young patients and drug users. Future research should be focused on other factors explaining the variability in alliance, such as therapist factors.
