Funktionshinder, även ett sexualitetshinder? En kvalitativ studie om professionellas konstruktion av sexualitet på LSS-boenden

Sammanfattning: The aim with this study was to examine how professionals working with people with disabilities apprehend their work with sexuality and how it is constructed in interaction with disability and gender. Some light have also been shed on the conflicting roles of these professionals when laws are contravene or lacks proper guidelines. The method used to gather empirics was semi-structured interviews and the interviewees was found through official websites and employers. Important findings show that norms sprouting from the sexual hierarchy based on Rubin’s theoretical circle (1993), seems to be reproduced by the professionals to the clients which seems to internalize these norms. Other findings suggest that professionals seem to experience a few different ethical dilemmas during their work with the disabled´s sexuality.
