Pyroteknik och fotboll: en analys av normer kring brukandet av pyroteknik på svenska fotbollsarenor

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Rättssociologiska institutionen

Sammanfattning: The purpose of this study is to map and analyse the discrepancy between legal norms, the framework of the Swedish Football Association and the social norms that exist within supporter groups, regarding the use of illegal pyrotechnics in Swedish football. The widespread use of pyrotechnics has become a debate involving more or less anyone with an interest in Swedish football. The legal framework is clear, possession and use of pyrotechnics at sport events is prohibited if no permission from the police has been issued and breaking the law can result in a fine or prison time for the perpetrator. Despite this the use of pyrotechnics still does not seem to disappear, with groups of supporters claiming the use of pyrotechnics as atmosphere enhancing and a part of the supporter culture. Using interrogation protocols, statements from supporter groups and the legal and sporting frameworks the study aims to analyse the discrepancy between these parties, the underlying motives for the different parties as well as discussing a possible future solution to the problem.
