Inkluderad eller exkluderad? : En fallstudie om mångfald i den svenska byggsektorn

Sammanfattning: Purpose: The aim of the thesis was to identify potential measures to increase the included diversity in the Swedish construction industry, as well as shed light on potential future research topics within the area. Method: The thesis question was examined with an inductive approach by conducting a qualitative case study on a Swedish construction company. The data used in the study was based on interviews with executives working in the Swedish construction industry. Conclusion: The study finds an underlying complexity in implementing included diversity in the Swedish construction industry. However, the general attitude was rather characterized by positive than negative connotations. Furthermore, the organizational culture has an impact on how the conditions for diversity appear. Through this study, we have finally been able to identify three measures that organizations within the Swedish construction industry can apply to improve diversity.
