Fiskeregleringar i marina skyddsområden - En studie av fiskefria områden i Sverige utifrån ett tillsynsperspektiv
Sammanfattning: The establishment of marine protected areas is a complementary management measure that is increasingly used to protect biodiversity and endangered species. Studies of the effects of protecting certain areas rarely take into account the consequences of non-compliance of rules and regulations, despite the fact that non-compliance of protected areas have been reported from all parts of the world. This study analyzes the factors that play an important role in the design of an area and how the design of such areas in Sweden affects the possibility of enforcement. The results show that the size of the area is crucial from a control aspect and that a greater attention to the possibilities of monitoring, should be shown in the design of new areas.
