Framtidens digitaliserade skola: En Studie av Lärares Möjligheter och Utmaningar
Sammanfattning: The Swedish School's vision is that in 2022, Sweden will be the best in the world to use thepotential of the digitalization (SKL2, 2017). It has turned out that digital tools themselves do notintroduce any change, but it is only when the digital tools are used with a thoughtful education,it will result in positive results (Swedish Public Administration, 2016). A general misconceptionis that IT usage and the digitalization are referred to the same and that means that IT tools willremain as a replacement for traditional textbooks (Lantz-Andersson & Säljö, 2014). The purposeof the study is to understand the difference between the digitalization of the school and the use ofICT in school, in order to understand how schools today work with their technologicalconditions in order to answer: What are the key opportunities and challenges facing the schoolin connection with the digitalization? The authors of the study can see that digitalization is ahard-defined concept that includes IT usage, digital tools, organizational changes and methoddevelopment. It is the implementation of the technology that enables organizational changes andnew working methods. The study has identified the selection of tools and information, digitalpedagogy and the teachers continuous learning as three key areas in connection with thedigitalization of the school. Previous research highlighting the challenges is often thin anddescribed in general terms.
