Sammanfattning: Entrepreneurship has been a subject of discussion for hundreds of years. Productive entrepreneurship has been the primary focus of the researchers, neglecting the destructive entrepreneurship. The reason for this might be partly explained by the difficulties of measuring destructive entrepreneurship. The aim in this study is to try to operationalize and measure destructive entrepreneurship as bankruptcy fraud, and thus contribute perspectives on how to measure destructive entrepreneurship. The analysis of the study is based on a unique set of data, extracted from the crime prevention assistant in Sweden. The statistical data comprise a total of 2,940,604 prosecutions in Swedenduring 1996-2020. Longitudinal design is used to study change and a cross-sectional design to study the characteristic features of destructive entrepreneurship and the destructive entrepreneur. The result is analyzed through graphical analysis of the self-made time series, Chi2 testsand correlation. The results show that the extent of destructive entrepreneurship, measured as bankruptcy fraud, is higher in 2020 than in 1996. The scope of women as destructive entrepreneurs has increased more than the scope of men as destructive entrepreneurs. Despite the increased number of women as destructive entrepreneurs, the typical destructive entrepreneur is portrayed as a man in his forties. Women as destructive entrepreneurs are slightly younger than men as destructive entrepreneurs. Destructive entrepreneurship activities may reproduce and the results of the study show that women who previously lacked prosecution are the ones who, to the greatest extent, act on the reproduced opportunities to engage in destructive entrepreneursh
