BIM 360 field - Effektivisering av kvalitetsprocessen i produktionsskedet

Sammanfattning: BIM-software programs are getting more frequently used in the construction business. Digitalization of the quality process might be necessary to firmly document the quality inspections for the customer’s satisfaction. Skanska has noticed that there is a low rate of totally completed projects, with the consequence that the completion of those issues is with a raising cost of the projects. BIM-360 field is an iPad-software from Autodesk that has its main purpose to solve the problem with poor documentation of quality controls and to handle the issues that occurs in the building process.   In this study, BIM 360 field has been practiced at the project NUS 5B, Umeå to evaluate its functions in the quality process.   The result of this study has been an evaluation of the functions “issues”, “checklists”, “tasks” and “equipment” in their use to handle the quality process with a higher rate of documentation. Beyond this evaluation, comments from two other responding projects that have been using BIM 360 field have been complied to a list in order to see their opinions.   “Issues” is the best function in its use to speed up the completion of the projects. This function is best used in pre-inspections and final-inspections to complete issues in a more effective way. The respondents that have commented the software BIM 360 field agree partly with this conclusion.
