Förhandlingarna kring Irans kärnkraft

Sammanfattning: In this thesis the starting point is the question on how the fact that the negotiations about nuclear power in Iran could be initiated. The time boundries are quite narrow, taking as the starting point when Rouhini became president in Iran. To answer the question the two theories ripeness theory and readiness theory are used. The goal is to test if these two theories can be used to explain why the negotiations could happen. Indicators of these theories are looked for in media about the negotiations from swedish sources. It could be said that it is reasonable to say that the theories can give some understanding as to why the negotiations could happen. To get a more complete understanding further analysis must be done. Suggestions for furhter analysis on this subject coulg be to work with different kind of material, as well as to use different theories. This might give a better picture as to why the negotiations about nuclear power in Iran could happen.
