Sammanfattning: Customer choices allows buyers to influence the finished result of their new accommodation to something that is aesthetically pleasing to the customer and makes the home more personal. The thesis work has been carried out in collaboration with Götenehus, who asked for an analysis of their work as it appears today. It deals with suggestions and new working methods in the process of customer choices. The company has highlighted several problems with the management of customer choices as it appears today. Most of it is possible to trace back to a lack of time and communication. There is also a certain amount of constructional difficulties. The purpose of the thesis is to review the problem that arises in the process of customer choices in the construction process. The work will help to develop parts of the construction process and provide the company with suggestions of efficiency methods. The method consists of interviews, questionnaire surveys, statistics from databases and reference projects. Delimitations are located geographically within Skåne and organizationally to the project side of the company. The theory part of the thesis provides insight into the industrial approach and how it could be applied to the work of optional activities within the case company. It also gives a historical background and knowledge of the customer choice process and its impact in the construction process.The thesis ended in a proposition to Götenehus on continued work by trying to make its process more like industrial thinking. The customer choices is reduced to facilitate management of its process and organizational changes are recommended for the company.
