Sammanfattning: Title: "Bullying among children in Swedish primary and secondary schools - School counselors perspectives on and experiences of preventive and remedial work " Author: Hanna Gunnardo and Petronella Sparw  The purpose of the study was to gain an insight into how Swedish schools work to prevent and take action against bullying. It has also been highlighted what bullying is, why -and where bullying occurs.Some of the previous research also addresses some of the anti - bullying programs that have been developed and used in schools around the world.  The research questions that formed the basis of the study are the following: In what ways is it practical to work prevential against bullying? What concrete actions are used when children are being bullied? The studies focus is the on role of the child that is being bullied.  The research study has been based on semi-structured interviews, conducted with seven school curators. The study has had a qualitative approach. The result has been interpreted and analyzed based on previous research, literature and the theory of systems theory. The interviews revealed, among other things, which children it is who is being bullied. How the school works preventively through, for example, friendship weeks and themes. Also what the concrete actions where, when bullying occurred, has been described.
