När flexibiliteten blir en utmaning : En kvalitativ studie om agila utmaningar

Sammanfattning: As of today, empirical studies that process challenges of traditional methods are relatively common. However, there is a deficiency of studies that process issues and challenges of agile development methods. Based on the following research question “which are the challenges of practically applying agile methodologies?”, the aim of this thesis is therefore to bring the issues and challenges of a practical agile implementation, more particularly a Scrum implementation, to light. In order to do so, a qualitative field study based on earlier research was conducted where three main categories of challenges were discovered and later on discussed: trust and autonomous teams, communication and agile imbalance. The hope and expectation of these results is to broaden and contribute to the research of agile software development, especially to the Scrum methodology research.
