Utmaningar och upplevelser som föräldrar till barn med adhd upplever i sin vardag

Sammanfattning: In my thesis I have intended to investigate the challenges and experiences of parents of children with adhd in their everyday life. I have used a qualitative method and to achieve my goal I have conducted six interviews with the parents of the children having adhd. I have used systemtheory and bronnerbergs development ecological model to analyse the data collected. The results showed that parents conceived everyday life as a struggle, especially when related to school, where conflicts occurred between teachers and parents felt they didn´t receive the support they required from society. Parents testified that close family members and friends were of invaluable support during everyday life.
