Additiv tillverkning:Resurseffektivitet och processval : En studie om gasturbiner och additiv tillverkningsteknik

Detta är en Magister-uppsats från KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

Sammanfattning: In this report, data from traditional and additive manufacturing processes of gas turbines are studied, analyzed and compared. Additive manufacturing is important because it is gaining an increasing role in the manufacturing industry. As additive manufacturing is implemented in a larger amount of industries, it is also important to see how this process has changed the manufacturing process and what these changes might be. Through a literary studie and an interview, data and results have been collected. Materials for the literature studies have been searched on various web-based databases such as KTH’s digital library and Scopus, including course literature as well as various articles that have been available online. Materials for the empirical studies have mainly come from interviews with key people within the subject of additive manufacturing. The studies show that additive manufacturing is more resource efficient than traditional manufacturing in the production of gas turbines. The report also shows that additive manufacturing facilitates lead times and provides better properties of the turbines.
