Sammanfattning: My aim with this project was to develope my skills within the field of graphicdesign and communication. This done by working with image and textto tell a story. The selected theme was: »Physical scars and traumatic lifestories«.The project investigates visual scars and life stories of six people. The materialwas gathered throughout meetings, photo shoots and interviews. Thiswas then worked into a result being a twenty page, black and white A3paper. The paper consists of pictures and text giving a closer view to thestrong and often traumatic experiences of the individuals. Marked by lifeor the future death they shared their reflections and thoughts of what hadforever left a strong visual reminder on their bodies.While producing the paper I dealt with numerous design matters. Whattype of images, text, typography and material could be use to visualize andcommunicate these stories in a suitable way?This was ment to be a paper one should view with the awareness of it notbeing an ordinary newspaper with gathered articles. Instead it was a paperwith an alternative and open form of retelling a told story.
