Sammanfattning: ABSTRACT (ENGELSK VERSION) This is an essay about the modern information technology in swedish sports. It brings up three levels of the sports and shows the information technologys´ aims, needs and future goals. The three levels in the Swedish sports that the essay presents is the following: 1. The idealistic and non profit Swedish sports and its information technology. 2. The commercial Swedish sports and its information technology. 3. The coach and the athlete and theirs information technology. The study is qualitative and built upon semi-structured interviews. The results from this study shows that the commercial sports is a more frequent user of modern information technology, than the other sportsorganisations in the study.
