Sammanfattning: The IT consultants today have a central part of the digital development that we are experiencing right now. This makes it more important than ever for IT consultants to adapt to the digitalization that is developing and also to be creative in the ways they use technology. This study aims to identify the experiences and possible behavioral changes of a leadership that is partially managed physical but also partially through the instant massage tool SPARK. The flexibility that it means to work as a consultant in combination with this kind of leadership presents new opportunities and challenges for the employees and their leader. This study used a qualitative research method conducted through interviews and research from virtual team to gather and define data for this thesis. Our study indicates that this kind of leadership in many ways is similar to virtual leadership but not fully since the leader and the team also integrates with each other physically. The result of this study shows that the consultants gain many positive effects from this kind of management thanks to the physical possibility to integrate with each other and the effectiveness that SPARK entails. The leader has the best prerequisites for conducting successful leadership because of the management between virtual and physical. The field that we have studied is a new way to manage teams and what we have seen it is also a relative unexplored field.
