Sammanfattning: This paper attempts to explain the construction of a newly developed genre that researchers believe is an epidemic on the digital horizon called revenge porn. The study examines patterns of language and hatred related to revenge porn as well as women as victims. The study examine how their life’s has been affected as a di-rect result of publications of photographs or videos of sexual nature. Our theoreti-cal base is within gender studies and its theory. The result of this study illustrate the cyber-bullying manifests itself trough comments on the Internet of a graphic nature. The invasive, degrading words and linguistic jargon shows that cyber-bullying associated with revenge porn is a specific genre of cyber-bullying. The study also reveals that lives of female victims have drastically changed. They are labeled as sluts and held responsible instead of seen as a victim of molestation and sexual crime. This is a qualitative case study based on investigations that uses both nethnography and text analysis to interpret revenge porn as a genre.
