Sammanfattning: With the advancement of artificial intelligence, there are new complications surfacing for managers today. Data analytics are increasingly important in order to make rational decisions. However, in order to be able to succeed as a manager in this new era, they need to be able to make man and machine work alongside each other. The purpose of this literature study is to present the changes that has occurred during AI’s ever-growing presence within organizations. How its impact has changed, and how it will continuously change managers’ leadership over time. The methodology used in the literature study is that of an inductive approach, with grounded theory as a basis in order to achieve the mapping of the research done by others up until this point. The 42 articles that the mapping consists of were concentrated down to ten variables that showcase the result of our study. In particular, variables such as: recruitment and bias, the managers’ crucial role as the process leader and the cooperation between human resources and AI were some of the more defining results. From the findings we were able to draw several conclusions. Managers need to develop and change their leadership in order to reduce fear and uncertainties, thus resulting in an easier implementation of AI within the organization. As well as suggestions for further research, which consists of the involvement of bias for managers when recruiting with AI as a complementary tool.
